Abi has been immersed in gospel and worship culture since childhood. At just 17, she became the youngest member of the worship ensemble at Resurrection Life Church in Michigan, joyfully serving in up to seven services each week. Five years later, during her time in the church’s Worship & Creative Arts Internship, Abi identified a gap: young people needed a way to step into worship leadership and launched a program to mentor and empower young leaders—a legacy that continues today.

Her passion for worship and leadership deepened as she spent six years as a worship leader at Tribes Church in Grand Rapids, where she oversaw eight ministry teams, including worship, production, in-house & public events, and design. Alongside her church leadership, Abi trained for four years in speech-level singing at a renowned studio in Nashville and has since spent eight years teaching vocal technique to children, teens, and adults alike. ​

After stepping away from worship ministry for seven years to pursue deep inner healing, Abi received a renewed vision from the Lord, leading her to establish Resound Ministries. Through Resound Ministries, she creates powerful spaces for people to encounter the heart of the Father through the gospel of Jesus Christ. Resound Ministries includes two primary expressions: citywide Resound Events that combine storytelling, spoken word, dance, visual art, and music; and the Resound Choir, a dynamic ensemble that plays a central role in these gatherings. Both exist to help people engage deeply with God's presence in tangible, creative ways.
